Responsibilities
- Supervise inmate activities and maintain order within the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of inmate living areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Monitor CCTV footage to identify any suspicious behavior or potential security breaches.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
- Prepare detailed reports on inmate behavior, incidents, and any other relevant observations.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations consistently while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Collaborate with law enforcement personnel as needed during emergencies or investigations.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of all individuals in the facility.
Qualifications
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independent judgment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in criminal justice or related fields is a plus.
