Associate Veterinarian
We are looking for a passionate Associate Veterinarian with a deep appreciation and commitment for veterinary medicine to join our team.
Established in 2009, Carroll Gardens has been providing superior pet care to our patients and clients six days a week ever since. Our culture is one of respect and empathy not only for our clients but, equally important, for each other. This culture is the basis for the sense of community we have built with our clients and is reinforced by providing high quality medicine with a neighborly vibe. Our educated and well-informed clients understand the importance of what we do and allow us to work up cases. Many of our clients have been with Carrol Gardens from the beginning, allowing us to form long-term relationships with them which gives our hospital an all-around family feel. Everyday our goal is to have a pleasant day practicing great medicine and being able to leave the hospital content and happy.

Essential Responsibilities & Functions
- Dedication to provide patients with a high level of veterinary care while utilizing the latest advances in diagnostics.
- A client service mindset with desire and ability to bring, build, and retain a strong client base.
- Enthusiasm about giving back to and building relationships with the local community.
- The ability to champion the practice’s objectives and values and inspire others.
- Follow the established policies and procedures that govern the normal operation of the hospital.
- Dedication efficiently handling caseloads and maintaining accurate records using SOAP templates for treatment plans and recommendations.
- Promote a collaborative working environment and encourage the value of teamwork.
- Prioritize traumatic injuries and serious illnesses to ensure that all animals receive time-sensitive care.
- Educate clients on the importance of vaccinations, heartworm treatments, flea and tick treatments and other aspects of preventive care.
