Summary

JOB SUMMARY
Ensures that all social services are delivered in accordance with the mission statement and SPIRIT values of Carroll Hospital Center, Acting in a lead capacity or in complex situations, is responsible for direct and indirect services for patients, families, and community members of all ages in the CHC area. Advises patient, families or members of our community on social issues, may arrange discharge and aftercare at home or in institutions, may arrange for foster care or nursing home placement, financial assistance, etc. Assists the Behavioral Health Services Coordinator of Social Work in program planning and development for specific service populations.
REQUIREMENTS
Completion of a Master’s Degree in Social Work from and accredited Program required
2-4 years Social Work experience required
LCSW-C - Certified Clinical Social Worker license strongly preferred, but may be open to considering LCPC or LMSW candidates with the right experience and background
CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider preferred
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Effective Communication Skills; Positive Customer Service Relations; Critical Analysis: Effective Organizational Skills; Ability to effect change.
