Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in operating various types of machinery. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality components while adhering to safety standards and operational guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery on the assembly line, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand specifications and requirements for machining tasks.
- Set up and adjust CNC machines, press brake machines, and other equipment as needed for production runs.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, applying mechanical knowledge to resolve problems efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining a safe work environment.
- Document production processes, including any deviations from standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining processes.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and CNC operations is preferred.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
