Salary Range: $16.00 - $22.66 Hourly
Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Geriatric Nursing Assistant at Carroll Lutheran Village! This position is located in our Health Care Center. The hours will be full time and will include every other weekend.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist nursing staff with completion of older adult resident activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, oral care.
- Perform vital signs on older adult residents at beginning of each shift and as directed.
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
- Ensure the safety of our senior residents.
- Assist with motivating senior residents to help keep them active and engaged.

Hourly wage will be based on candidate qualifications including relevant years of experience and certifications/education
Qualifications

- Previous experience working in a CCRC environment is a plus
- Ability to remain calm and patient when dealing with older adult residents

- A willingness to navigate changes in assignments
- Previous experience developing relationships and interacting with older adult residents to increase their comfort level
- Prior knowledge organizing social activities for older adult residents is a plus
- Current CPR Certification
