Job Overview
The purpose of the customer service representative is to provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.
Functions include but are not limited to the below task. These tasks are to be completed within the framework set forth by management.
- Respond to all customer emails and phone calls
- Process inbound freight in WMS
- Process outbound freight in WMS
- Reconcile inventories
- Ensure all data pertaining to customers and order details are accurate in the WMS
- Process and send out billing timely
- Ensure processes set up for specific customers are met
- Monitor emails and to help respond to all emails expediently.
- Dispatch shipments to appropriate carriers
Requirements:
- Strong customer-service attitude with a strong work ethic
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented personality.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment focused on serving internal and external customers with their daily and urgent needs.
- Understands information and communicates clearly through spoken and written words, asks questions as appropriate, and thinks critically to identify solutions to problems.
- A cooperative, dependable team player.
- Good computer and record-keeping skills, and aptitude to learn ever-evolving systems, programs, handheld technology, and processes.
- Must be able to work in both office/warehouse environments
- Ability to stand/walk for periods of time to complete inventories
- Google Workspace/G Suite knowledge is a plus
- Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems is a plus
