Up to $23.00 / hour- (experience based) | Full Time | No Weekends or Holidays
The Affordable Housing Assistant Community Manager is a supportive role to the Senior Community Manager, dedicated to assisting in overall property operations and various administrative functions. Daily responsibilities include : collection of onsite rents, maintaining new leases and lease renewals in accordance with LIHTC / HOME requirements, resident recertification, handling resident requests and various other functions. Some travel may be required between residential communities.
Qualifications :
- Knowledge of tax credits and affordable housing regulations strongly preferred
- Course work in real estate and / or knowledge of affordable housing regulations preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Package, Email, Data Entry)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated professionalism, organizational skills, ability to prioritize work assignments and attention to detail
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to effectively interact positively with community residents
- Valid Driver's License and ability to travel to alternative communities
