We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing various areas within the facility.
- Maintain floors through regular buffing and care to ensure they remain in excellent condition.
- Conduct thorough custodial services in both residential and commercial settings, adhering to established cleaning protocols.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and presentable.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure that all cleaning duties are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management for timely replenishment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A background in facilities maintenance or porter services is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
