What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wound Care Nurse position at Carrollton Health and Rehabilitation?
Our Wound Care Nurse is a vital member to our health care team. This position provides nursing care including administering prescribed medications, documenting the condition, care and treatment of patients, observing patients and notifying physicians of significant changes. This position also supervises other nursing department staff.
Qualifications:
- Texas RN or LVN license is required
- Must have working knowledge of infection control and wound care
- Service-oriented (positive, enthusiastic, empathetic and respectful demeanor)
- Able to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
