Carr’s Tree Service is actively seeking a full-time medium – heavy duty equipment mechanic. 

Qualifying candidates will work alongside our lead mechanics and must be honest, hard-working, self- motivating, and mechanically minded individuals with a willingness to grow their knowledge of mechanics in a hands on, day-in-day out experience.

Carr’s Tree Service operates a large number of medium/heavy duty machinery in the tree care industry. Mechanics work and service equipment such as; aerial lifts, Grapple trucks, CAT machinery, Fecon mowers, Vermeer and brush bandit chippers, stump grinders along with other forms of tree equipment. This position involves working in an indoor and outdoor working environment as on-site mechanical work is often necessary.

Physical requirements include but are not limited to:

Lift, carry, push, pull, and drag up to 80lbs frequently.

Maintenance and repair equipment

Preventive maintenance on equipment

Stand and walk up to 2 hours at a time.

Working in varying temperatures: 90F to -25F.

Withstand heights up to 60 feet.

Ability to work in conditions/areas which may include dust, pollen, smoke, noxious weeds, poison ivy, bees, and other insects.

Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.

Ability to drive and operate vehicles and equipment within DOT, OSHA, and manufacturer regulations.
