What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Staff Credentialer position at Carrus Health?

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs a variety of confidential administrative and credentialing functions for the Medical Staff.
Initiates and follows through on the appointment/change in status process for the medical staff and allied health professionals.
Ensures applications and supporting documents are up to date and current.
Acts as liaison between medical staff, allied health professionals, and administration within the parameters established by the Medical Staff by-laws.
Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
One year of credentialing experience in an LTACH setting is preferred.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS:
None required.
