We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (Hospitalist)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Works in collaboration with a physician to assess patient's medical needs.
Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and report results to physicians.
Prescribes medication and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment.
Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires two to four years of experience. Long-term acute care, critical care, and rehabilitation experience is preferred.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Must hold a current state Nurse Practitioner license.
BLS certification is required upon hire.
ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
PALS certification is preferred.
