What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Tech Urgent Care Clinic position at Carrus Health?

Essential Functions
Provides routine nursing care and services that support the care delivered to patients requiring long-term acute or transitional restorative care, in accordance with the established nursing care procedures and as directed by the supervisor.
Addresses patient and family needs under the direct supervision of licensed personnel.
Discusses and communicates the care plan for each patient in collaboration with licensed personnel to address all identified needs.
Maintains up-to-date documentation of care provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team, to ensure quality care.
Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
Qualifications
Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.
Medical Assistant Experience Is Preferred.
Must be able to maintain patient confidentiality and assist licensed nursing staff with ADLs, Vital Signs, etc.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.
License And Certifications
Certified Nursing Assistant and/or Patient Care Technician certification is preferred.
BLS certification is required upon hire.
