Carrus Lakeside Hospital offers primary care, urgent care, and therapy services to patients in Bristow and the neighboring communities of Oklahoma.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the administrative management patient care activities on his/her designated shift.
Consults with staff, physicians, and Chief Nursing Officer or designee on nursing procedures and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met.
Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Requires two years’ experience in acute or long-term acute care.
Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills are required.
Requires the ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail in performing and planning professional nursing care and dealing with patients and family members.
Two years of supervisory experience is preferred.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Must hold a current state RN license.
BLS certification is required upon hire.
ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
PALS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
