Summary
Responsible for cycle counting, receiving incoming material, part identification, storage, and other related account administration. They also serve as a subject matter expert for physical inventory levels and discrepancies.
Primary Responsibilities
- The ability to work as a team, follow orders, and complete tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Performs day-to-day inventory activities including; receiving incoming material, cycle counts, part identification and storage.
- Strong communication skills to deliver technical information via email or spreadsheets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
- Follow prescribed procedures and guidelines.
- Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
- Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Previous Inventory experience in a manufacturing environment or relevant field/position.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques involved in the effective manufacture of goods a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 50-70 pounds consistently required.
- Must have the ability to use and read a tape measure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to properly identify and compile information to effectively make decisions and set priorities.
