The Data Analyst will work closely with CarShield business stakeholders to help provide ad-hocs and data insights that lead to action.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Data Services, this position is responsible for:
- Utilizing strong SQL skills to extract, clean, and manipulate data from various sources to support reporting, analytics, and ad-hoc requests;
- Analyzing complex data sets and applying statistical techniques to derive meaningful insights and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities;
- Developing forecasting models and predictive analytics to enable data-driven decision-making and assist in strategic planning processes;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to understand business objectives, requirements, and challenges, translating them into actionable data analysis and recommendations;
- Preparing and presenting clear and concise reports, visualizations, and dashboards that effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve data quality, data integrity, and reporting efficiency;
- Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify areas for process optimization and uncover potential areas of improvement;
- Participate in data governance initiatives to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance;
- Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements for Data Analyst:
- Must be able to work in-office in St. Peters, MO;
- 3 – 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a related field;
- 4 year degree in related field preferred;
- Experience in handling large, complex data sets and databases;
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in a SQL environment;
- Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis techniques and statistical, including concepts such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and data distributions;
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Microstrategy, Power BI, or other BI tools;
- Proven problem solving and analytical skills Ability to work;
- Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) skills, and interpersonal skills.
