What is the role we are looking for?
Experienced Automotive Body Prepper :
CarShop is seeking an experienced prepper to refinish external body panels and components of all vehicles with cosmetic damage.
What will you do?
- The Prepper is responsible for refinishing all vehicles that are for sale according to the agreed procedures of the Reconditioning Service Department.
- He / She is to plan, organize, schedule and execute refinishing work in order to prevent bottlenecks in the reconditioning process.
- The successful candidate will keep all equipment and tools in good working order and required supplies in stock.
- The prepper also alerts the Reconditioning Service Coordinator when problems are discovered which might prevent sold vehicles from being delivered properly.
What skills do you bring to the role?
- The successful candidate demonstrate the ability to establish priorities within his / her area of responsibility and problem solve in order to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Experience in automotive refinishing work is required.
- The prepper is a team player and an effective communicator.
- The successful candidate will exemplify integrity, strive for self-improvement, and have an open-minded, "can-do" attitude.
