Produce Freight Team Associate

Overview: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Produce Department Clerk to join our team. No experience is required—we will train the right person! As a Produce Clerk, you will play a key role in providing our customers with high-quality, fresh produce while maintaining an organized and clean environment in the department. You will work closely with fellow team members to ensure that the produce section is stocked, rotated, and presented in a way that meets our company’s standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the receiving, stocking, and rotation of produce to ensure freshness and quality.
• Maintain product displays and ensure shelves are fully stocked and properly organized.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the produce area by cleaning shelves, refrigeration units, and surrounding areas.
• Follow all safety guidelines and food safety protocols.
• Help with labeling and pricing of produce as needed.
• Assist in unloading deliveries and checking in produce shipments.
• Assist customers with product selections and inquiries.

Qualifications:.

• No experience required—training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
• Basic knowledge of produce items, including proper handling, storage, and selection, is a plus but not required.
