Who We Want

A Consultant, Transition Operations role is to assist the joining partner offices in the transition process. They will be the main operational contact and will assist the office with training and customizing a process to prepare paperwork and ensure every aspect of clients’ accounts is set up accurately and properly maintained. This role will provide ongoing service and support to advisors during the transition period that exceeds expectations. This includes determining what actions are needed to complete setting up new accounts or perform maintenance on existing client accounts on an accurate and timely basis. They will use Salesforce and other tools to track the overall progress of transitioning offices and report to management. They will strive to contribute to developing the most efficient onboarding process.

What To Expect

  • The position is located at Carson’s headquarters, in Omaha, NE, and required to be in person.
  • Act as a liaison working with multiple departments across Carson and ensure follow-up and completion of all transition responsibilities for new partner offices.
  • Operation Subject Matter Expert (SME) during the transition period with a heavy emphasis on preparing paperwork, policies, and procedures.
  • Present and/or support multiple topics to new partner offices during transition.
  • Involved in the data gathering and paperwork creation for the transitioning partner office.
  • Travel to transitioning partner offices to support the operations staff with paperwork and questions.
  • Prepare paperwork to open and/or maintain client accounts to the specifications requested by the Advisor.
  • Follow guidelines provided to achieve goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct phone calls with custodians to research potential issues within client accounts.
  • Create and monitor Salesforce reporting about new transitioning partner offices.
  • Provide training on internal and external software and tools.
  • Present to management statistics of assigned transitioning offices daily.
  • Understand the product offerings, procedures, and forms of all custodians.
  • Assist in developing processes and procedures that enhance accuracy and streamline processes.
  • Assist in setting and continually meeting project expectations with management and team members.
  • Provide exceptional client service in every interaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Need

  • Knowledge of Financial Advisor office tools (i.e., SalesForce, DocuSign, Orion, etc.)
  • Knowledge of advisory custodians: Charles Schwab, and Fidelity
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Computer literacy to easily learn new programs
  • Up to 35% travel will be required
  • A natural acumen for numbers
  • A genuine interest in the financial services industry

  • Manage multiple projects with precision
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or similar field of study is preferred
  • Have FINRA financial licenses or complete the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • Minimum of two years in a general office environment preferred

The total rewards expected for this role include:

  • Starting annual base salary between $60,000 - $76,850.
  • Variable compensation potential (Bonus and/or commissions)

Salary : $60,000 - $76,850
