Who We Want
The Accountant will perform daily and monthly financial reporting and review with a focus on the treasury activity of the business.
What To Expect
- Responsible for accounting of the treasury function of the company. Candidate will maintain, review, analyze, record, and reconcile cash activity on a daily and monthly basis.
- Work cross functionally to research cash activity for various revenue products.
- Apply cash receipts to customer receivable accounts.
- Process all electronic payments of the company within the banking system.
- Assist with reviewing and recording expense reports, including working with stakeholders and leaders to ensure that company policies are followed and required details are captured.
- Participate in monthly financial close process, including account analysis, account reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and balancing accounts.
- Cross train for support of accounts payable, as well as other finance and accounting functions.
- Various other functions and duties to support the finance and accounting department.
- Provide ongoing input to improve operational efficiencies.
What You Need
- Ability to analyze information and streamline processes
- Confidentiality, thoroughness, and a strong attention to detail
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with all levels of co-workers
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required
- 1-4 years experience in accounting required
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite accounting software preferred
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
