Who We Want
The Sales Consultant is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing prospective client leads, with the goal of scheduling appointments for partner financial advisors that convert to client relationships. This individual must be skilled at outbound calling and prospecting, with the ability to assess the needs and level of intent from cold inbound leads. They will also be able to effectively speak to and sell the value and impact of a financial advisor and be able to provide limited financial guidance of their own to impactfully warm leads. This role will also assist with organizing office details, administrative follow-up, and data preparation and analysis.
What To Expect
- Connect with assigned inbound and outbound leads to sell the benefit of financial advice from a Carson Partner at or above expected contact volume and appointment schedule rate levels.
- Adhere to established processes, scripts, and operational standards with regards to channel, frequency, and messaging to prospective leads and advisor partners
- Assist the broader Client Acquisition Sales team with administrative tasks such as updating CRM tools, providing reporting, follow-up with advisors and other duties as assigned.
- Participate in team and advisor best-practice sharing to improve own performance and performance of the team
- Actively surface ideas and opportunities for team performance improvement, better connection to Advisors, better data handling and entry, technical toolsets, integration with marketing or other efforts to increase the teams achievement of shared goals.
- Support a healthy and engaging high-performance team culture by participating, focusing on solutions rather than problems, and connecting frequently and meaningfully with colleagues and leadership
What You Need
- Experienced in high-volume sales
- Experienced in customer service, with the ability to meaningfully connect with callers
- Familiar with sales management, tracking, and reporting tools; able to apply such tools effectively to create organized reporting and facilitate customer relationship management (CRM) best practices
- Enthusiastic about learning and sharing ideas and strategies that align with the sales team's goals.
- Team player who possesses excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities
- Organized, detail-oriented, and excellent time-management skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience with Salesforce preferred, or other CRM experience
- Possess a strong work ethic and personal values
- Must like to work in the office and in a team environment
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to learn tools including Calendly, and assist the offices in administrative onboarding processes
Preferred Education and Experience
- 2 yrs sales experience; financial services industry preferred but not required, with a demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals
- S65 license or ability to attain licensing within 12 months of hire
- 2 years outperforming revenue targets as an individual contributor
- 1 years of cold calling or prospecting experience

The total rewards expected for this role include:
- Starting annual base salary between $65,000 - $89,500.
- Variable compensation potential (Bonus and/or commissions)
