Job Title: CTE Marketing Education Instructor (Global Logistics)
Job Summary:
As a Career and Technical Education Instructor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive Career and Technical Education (CTE) curriculum focused on global logistics to high school students. You will provide instruction, guidance, and support to students in developing their skills and knowledge in the distribution and logistics businesses and industries. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing students with work-force development opportunities with business and industry partners will be a priority for this new pathway implementation.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a CTE curriculum for global logistics that aligns with Perkins V guidelines and meets state standards.
Deliver engaging and interactive instruction to high school students, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs.
Provide hands-on training and guidance to students in global logistics, including work force development opportunities.
Assess student performance, provide feedback, and evaluate student progress to ensure achievement of learning objectives.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in the distribution and logistics industries, and incorporate them into the curriculum as appropriate.
Collaborate with other CTE teachers, school staff, and external partners to create a comprehensive and integrated CTE program that prepares students for success in the global logistics pathway.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant data, and prepare reports as required.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance instructional skills and stay current with licensure requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, or a related field.
Valid Marketing Education license, as required by state regulations.
Strong knowledge of logistics and/or new program implementation.
Familiarity with Perkins V guidelines and Career and Technical Education standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and external partners.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Organizational skills to manage and coordinate classroom activities, events, and projects.
Ability to adapt instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles.
Knowledge of relevant software, tools, and technologies used in the global logistics industries.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their academic and career goals.
