Summary
Under the direction of the department manager performs electrocardiography exams including but not limited to 12 Lead EKG, rhythm strips, Holter monitor application and scanning, and pacemaker evaluation. Also performs diagnostic stress studies including but not limited to treadmill or pharmacologic stress procedures under physician/mid-level supervision.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Completion of basic arrhythmia interpretation class required within six (6) months of hire.
- Preferred
- One (1) year experience in 12-Lead EKGs, Holter Monitoring and cardiac stress testing.
