What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Tech Aid position at Carson Tahoe Health?
Prepares patients for exams to assist in department efficiency. Duties include preparing the patient for procedure by gowning, reviewing history and screening form, room preparation and gathering of supplies for procedures, escorting of patient in and out of department, and cleaning of rooms for the following exam. Provides general clerical support for the department as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
o Self starter with strong interpersonal communication skills
o Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with physicians, nurses, patients and their families, and coworkers
o Current CPR card
o Basic computer skills, operate telephone and fax
o Must be able to speak and read English
Preferred:
o Basic medical terminology
o Understanding of MRI/ Radiology Safety
