The Quality Engineer will be responsible for quality engineering activities primarily supporting Product Safety, Compliance, Reliability Testing, Quality Management System (ISO 9001) & Supplier Quality. This key role a critical to protect and grow our multi-million-dollar global account(s) for many of the world’s most popular playing Card Games, Trading Card Games, and Board Game brands in the world!
What you’ll do as a Quality Engineer :
- Support key Customer account quality : Execute APQP, PPAP & support PFMEAs, Work Instructions, SOPs, & Control plans
- Support production with Root Cause Analysis, NC material handling, process improvements, and Training
- Monitor Supplier Quality KPI & coordinate with vendors to close out CARs
- Responsible for conformity of products with chemical and physical requirements of toy legislation and other relevant legislation.
- Responsible for the conformity of the products with the chemical and physical requirements of customer-specific product safety requirements.
- Monitor KPIs (Scrap, Rework, Customer Complaints etc.), develop & execute improvement plans. Initiate projects to improve process capability.
- Conduct product / process / supplier / quality system audits and employ formal problem-solving techniques to ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
- Collaborate with business partners to streamline processes and procedures & support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate closely with Account managers, QC personnel, and Production supervisors to ensure customer satisfaction
Facilitate cross-functional teams to resolve customers’ quality concerns or issues.
