The Business Sales Analyst is a key role in our North American Retail Sales organization and supports the account managers, retail accounts, categories and brands through high level data analysis and reporting. This role is responsible for analyzing market trends, point-of-sale (POS) data, and inventory metrics to support category growth, demand planning, and drive strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a passion for data-driven insights, and the ability to translate complex information into actionable recommendations.

What you’ll do as a Business Sales Analyst:

• Analyze sales, POS, and inventory data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the Playing Card category.
• Monitor category performance and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to key stakeholders.
• Support the development and execution of category strategies to optimize assortment, pricing, and promotions.
• Work with account managers to convert analysis into demand plans for emerging accounts that are key inputs into our S&OP process
• Work closely with the buying, merchandising, and supply chain teams to ensure proper inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overages.
• Conduct competitive market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities for category expansion.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and business cases to drive category growth initiatives.
• Utilize data visualization tools to communicate key insights in a clear and compelling manner.
• Partner with vendors and internal teams to enhance product performance and ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Conduct store audits to proactively assess and ensure competitive new items are tracked, monitor integrity of planograms and product availability, evaluate in store displays merchandising options, and compile pricing comparisons

We’re looking for a Business Sales Analyst with:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in category management, retail analytics, inventory planning, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of POS data, inventory management principles, and retail trends.
• Experience with Circana and Retailer POS; preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights effectively

Physical requirements and working conditions:

Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:

• Move throughout the entire facility to attend to various issues
• Work effectively in teams across functional groups with strong communication skills and the ability to lead
• Perform sedentary work on various computer systems
• This Business Sales Analyst position is located on-site in our Erlanger facility
