Senior Process Engineer

The Apprentice Electrician will work with Production and Maintenance personnel on construction and or maintenance projects. Assist with and train operators on procedures and equipment related to electrical at this facility. Long-range goal would be to become proficient in all software and hardware required to maintain facility including PLC programming and acquired troubleshooting skills. Accumulate time and take steps to acquire a Journeymen electrical license.

What you’ll do as an Apprentice Electrician:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify electrical issues
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
• Use power tools and hand tools to complete tasks

We’re looking for an Apprentice Electrician with:

• Proven experience working as an Apprentice
• High school diploma or equivalent, currently enrolled or completed a recognized electrical apprenticeship program.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, components, and principles.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of experienced electricians
• Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols diligently
• Fork Truck, Lift loft license is required

Physical requirements and working conditions:

Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:

• Move throughout the entire facility to attend to various issues
• Work effectively in teams across functional groups with strong communication skills and the ability to lead
• Perform sedentary work on various computer systems

This Apprentice Electrician position is located on-site in our East Longmeadow facility
