PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY
The Administrative Assistant 2 (AA2), under moderate supervision from the Director of Mobile Donor Recruitment and Regional Operations, is primarily responsible for providing administrative support for Carter BloodCare (CBC) operations and Human Resources in East Texas. The AA2 performs routine work where strict confidentiality is expected. This position requires a reasonable amount of judgment to ensure departmental administrative functions are accomplished.
Regular full-time attendance is required during normal working hours.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s Degree, preferred
EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive Administrative Assistant, or other senior-level Administrative Assistant
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Excellent organizational skills, where detail is a priority
- Demonstrates the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, use time efficiently, and prioritize work, with strong attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (verbal and written)
- Advanced knowledge of document development (e.g., correspondence, spreadsheets, forms), proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Zoom, or other meeting technology
- Ability to learn, understand, and properly utilize CBC-specific applications/programs
- Ability to exhibit initiative, discretion, and professionalism (e.g., dress and skill)
- Displays a high level of organizational skills and planning abilities
