MLT/MLS - R&T - JPS

This opportunity is available for MLT and MLS-qualified candidates at our JPS Location. This shift will be Friday through Sunday 1630-0500 HRS.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Will Report To The Manager Or Designee Of Reference & Transfusion (R&T) Services. This Position Participates In All Activities In R&T Services To Include, But Is Not Limited To

• Supports Carter BloodCare’s (CBC) vision, mission, and core values
• Maintains compliance with Carter BloodCare’s (CBC) Attendance Policies and departmental schedules, as outlined in the CBC Employee Handbook
• Performs testing and services associated with assigned departmental duties. These duties are in the scope of high complexity, according to accrediting agencies
• Participates in competency, proficiency, and educational opportunities
  
  

By accomplishing these duties, the MLT ensures that daily operations in the R&T laboratories meet and follow all established guidelines, provide excellence in service, and meet the needs of all R&T customers.

Regular full-time attendance is required during normal working hours.
