Cleaning Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a school environment, ensuring that all areas are spotless and welcoming. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including classrooms, restrooms and common areas.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Clean windows, walls, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning products and techniques.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning materials as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
