What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Consultant - The Edison Sugarloaf position at CARTER-HASTON?
- Performs all sales and leasing activities in person to achieve the property’s revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects face-to-face, conducting property tours and showing apartments, processing applications, credit screening, criminal background checks, preparing the lease and move-in package, and ensuring a smooth resident move-in and lease signing
- Follows-up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction by sending e-mail, thank-you notes, and cards or making telephone calls or other contacts to finalize decisions to lease and/or renew
- Respond to in-person, phone and email inquiries, which includes providing leasing information, making appointments and creating and following up with maintenance requests
- Completes various accounting, financial, administrative, and other reports and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service and assist all clients with a positive and friendly tone
- Attends routine safety meetings, completing required training on OSHA and other safety related laws and requirements, and by reporting accidents and incidents promptly
