Administrative Assistant Tulsa, Oklahoma
SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION
- This position is responsible for all clerical and secretarial duties for the department or office, working directly for the Regional Administrative Assistant, who will delegate work to assure an efficient work flow within the department.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1. High school diploma or equivalent required; some college is preferred.
- 2. Previous secretarial experience required. Must have a good working knowledge of Word and Excel and the ability to create Excel spreadsheets.
- 3. Knowledge of basic math is required.
- 4. Computer literate with working knowledge of Windows/MS Office applications. Able to type at least 25 words per minute; 10-key by touch a plus.
- 5. Six months of data entry experience preferred
- 6. Six months experience in the medical field preferred; medical and insurance terminology helpful.
- 7. Ability to coordinate with co-workers assignments and projects for development and completion.
- 8. Must possess excellent spelling, English and grammar skills along with excellent communication skills.
- 9. Is self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision; demonstrates good organizational skills.
- 10. Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation.
- 11. Must possess the ability to create memos and record meeting minutes.
- 12. Must be able to maintain client and proprietary confidentiality.
- 13. Must possess the ability to multi-task.
- 14. Preferred: licensed driver with automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the Agency requirements; have proof of insurance.
- 15. Must possess a valid driver's license or ID card issued by a State, an outlying possession of the US, or a federal, state or local government agency/entity. ID card must have either a photo and/or identifying information such as name, address, DOB, gender, height, and eye color.
