SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Clinical Coordinator works under the supervision of the Director to direct the total management of clinical operations in the branch office with staff assigned, responsible for overall direction, quality and efficiency of managing home health services. Establishes, implements and evaluates goals and objectives for home health services which meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1. Registered Nurse license with no restrictions, in the state of office location, preferably five (5) years Home Healthcare or Hospice experience at management level for twelve (12) consecutive months full time within the last three (3) years.
- 2. Bachelor's Degree preferably with one (1) year Home Health Care or Hospice experience at management level full time within the last three years.
- 3. Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.
- 4. Demonstrates ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
- 5. Proven ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with the community.
- 6. Sound workable knowledge base of nursing and clinical management.
- 7. Has satisfactory references from current employers and/or professional peers.
- 8. Possesses excellent observation and communication skills.
- 9. Computer literate with working knowledge of Windows/MS Office applications. Able to type at least 25 words per minute.
- 10. Licensed driver with automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the Agency requirements; have proof of insurance.
- 11. Is self directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
- 12. Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations.
- 13. Willing to be on call as assigned.
- 14. Possesses motivational qualities for improved team performance.
