Job Title: Regional Director of Hotel Operations
Carter Hospitality is a family-owned company seeking an exceptional leader to oversee multiple luxury hotels. As a Regional Director, you will inspire and lead staff in the hotel/resort industry, focusing on exceptional employee relations and management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and train General Managers to ensure seamless operations across the portfolio.
- Analyze financial reports, advise on cost control methods, and develop budgets to drive business growth.
- Implement business strategies, plans, and practices to maintain high operational standards.
- Ensure cost and quality standards are met, while developing employees and exceeding guest expectations.
- Control day-to-day operations costs, revenue, and labor to maximize efficiency.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to drive excellence.
- Select, develop, and lead the management team to achieve outstanding results.
- Develop and implement internal QA Compliance Programs to ensure consistency and quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in full-service hotel operations and leadership roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Delphi, SMS, Opera, M3 systems.
- Multi-unit experience with branded chains preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Critical thinker and decision maker with proven leadership skills.
- Ability to travel moderately for business purposes.
- Experience in independent hotel operations.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
