What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Kitchen Staff position at Carter Hospitality Group?
Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa is an award-winning luxury resort located in the heart of Texas Hill Country. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team as a Line Cook. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing delicious meals for our guests.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience working in a high-volume kitchen, with a proven track record of producing high-quality dishes under pressure. You will be responsible for preparing food for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces, as well as cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Additionally, you will answer and follow instructions from the Executive or Sous Chef, clean up your station and manage leftover food, stock inventory appropriately, and perform other duties as assigned.
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary of $16.00 - $20.00 per hour, as well as a range of benefits, including health insurance, dental insurance, and paid time off.
