Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Naval Electromagnetic Radiation Facility (NERF) by assisting with the reconfiguration, upkeep ,and maintenance of RF testing systems, HVAC systems and performing general laborer duties as assigned in both indoor and outdoor industrial environments.
Duties
- Obtain tasking from a supervisor
- Conduct maintenance on equipment
- Conducts facility maintenance, such as snow removal
- Lifts, moves, and reconfigures test equipment, antennas, and cables
- Conducts distance measurements
- Controls access to the test site- Acts as safety observer reporting any safety issues
Qualifications
- Comfortable working with hands and power tools
- Proactively seeking out work
- Comfortable working outdoors in the heat and cold
- Willing to take direction and provide superior customer service
- Willing to work overtime - Dependable and on time
- Provides attention to detail during tasking
- Willing to learn
- Ability to get a DOT physical
- Comfortable working with desktop computers
Desired Skills and Abilities
- Previous experience operating forklifts and other equipment
- Electronic cable manufacturing and general fabrication skills
- Have a background in electronics or electronics repair
- Experience working around aircraft
- Experience conducting general building maintenance
Clearance
- Interim Secret required to start and Final Secret required to continue
Must be:
US Citizens
DOD or US Naval personnel working or have worked within the community

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
