Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Power Systems Division (PSD) Training Supervisor in Elkridge, Maryland. The Power Systems Division (PSD) Training Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the technical instruction and related administrative functions for their designated team. The individual in this position provides supervision to Training Instructors, including the review and execution of their schedules and ensuring that they are prepared to instruct their assigned classes; organization of logistical needs for classes at both internal and external venues in conjunction with training Coordinator. The Training Supervisor will provide leadership to assigned areas of responsibility, acting as a liaison between the training group and their stakeholders. The Training Supervisor-PSD will lead the team responsible for Power Systems technician and apprentice training. Seeking candidates with experience working in or knowledge of designated area (Power Systems) of the business required. Previous experience working as a Training Instructor, preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred. College degree in related field, preferred.

Physical requirements must be met for the Power Systems Division (PSD) Training Supervisor job, including regularly being required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Compensation Range: $85,000 - $105,000 a year
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, candidate qualifications, education, geographic location, and other relevant business factors. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance e.g. discretionary incentive programs or non-discretionary incentive plans including overtime.
