We are looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Parts Sales Representative to join our team! This role involves selling parts to customers over the counter, through the shop, or via phone while delivering outstanding service. Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Customer Assistance & Sales :
- Assist retail and shop customers in selecting the right parts in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Provide information on companion part requirements and special promotions.
- Offer price quotes and other details to customers over the phone.
- Ensure a high level of service for both internal (technicians, service advisors) and external customers.
- Maintain Customer Satisfaction scores above company standards.
Inventory & Order Management :
Pull and fill orders from stock accurately and efficiently.Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock items and shop materials requiring urgent attention.Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and place emergency orders when necessary.Be resourceful when parts are on backorder or not readily available.Follow up on back-ordered parts to ensure timely fulfillment.Maintain organized records of repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special orders.Manage parts inventory and ensure proper stock levels.Order Processing & Delivery :
Notify service advisors and customers when special orders arrive.Respond quickly to the needs of service advisors and technicians.Coordinate with the body shop to ensure parts are delivered as needed.Pull, tag, and organize orders for delivery with accurate customer and job details.Process payments from retail customers and secure credit authorizations when required.Stocking & Housekeeping :
Replenish assigned inventory daily to maintain stock levels.Keep counter areas clean, organized, and professional in appearance.Maintain proper records of tools issued to technicians.Participate in a lost sales tracking program with the parts manager.Knowledge & Development :
Stay up to date on new products, updates, and industry trends.Assist outside sales representatives with order fulfillment and inquiries.Why Join Us?

Requirements :
Education & Experience :High school diploma or equivalent required.2 years of automotive experience working in a dealership parts department preferred.Technical & Professional Skills :Computer proficiency required (CDK or other DMS experience preferred).Ability to accurately estimate the availability and pricing of parts.Strong inventory management skills.Professional appearance and strong communication skills.Other Requirements :Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license with a clean driving record.
