At Carter Residence, we are seeking a skilled Landscaper / Groundskeeper to maintain and enhance the outdoor environment of our private residence. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the landscape is well-manicured, safe, and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and improve the landscape through regular mowing, pruning, weeding, and seasonal plant installation
• Perform debris removal and gutter cleaning tasks as needed
• Provide light handyman services, including pressure washing and furniture moving
• Advise homeowners on how to optimize their landscape for maximum aesthetic appeal
• Operate landscaping equipment, including mowers and trailers
Requirements
• Proven background in landscaping or groundskeeping
• Knowledge of native plants and trees in the area
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and lift up to 50 pounds
• Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring lifting and bending
Preferred Qualifications
• Basic handyman experience with tools and equipment
• Excellent communication skills for discussing landscaping options with homeowners
Experience working in the South Carolina Lowcountry is a plus!
