The Academic Support Coordinator is a full-time position responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Mentoring, Advising, and Planning for Success (MAPS) Center, including registration, testing, tutoring, and the academic support services. Annual Salary Range: $38,131 to $47,664Benefits include paid leave, low-cost insurance, 12 paid holidays per year, pension. Applications will be accepted through Thursday, April 24, 2025. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Serves as the MAPS Center receptionist, to include oversight of drop in requests, phone calls and the Center email correspondence. Assist with advising and registering students in the MAPS Center. Coordinate and conduct MAPS Center testing.Assist with recruiting, training, and scheduling all MAPS Center support staff to ensure adequate coverage to meet student needs.Under direction from supervisor, source and schedule tutoring services to aid in student success.Provide marketing for MAPS Center resources.Ensure College placement testing processes comply with current State standards.Gather and provide data for reporting, outcomes assessment and other needs identified by the Director.Maintain inventory of testing and tutoring resources.Monitor and ensure security of confidential information.Serve on College committees and task forces as assigned.Attend required campus events including graduation, professional development, & employee meetings.
