This position requires a skilled plumber to maintain the physical plants of Carteret County Public Schools in a condition of operating excellence. The successful candidate will have a strong background in plumbing installations and maintenance, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of plumbing systems
- Diagnose and repair complex plumbing issues, including leaks and blockages
- Servicing and repairing plumbing fixtures and related equipment
- Maintaining accurate records and reports of work completed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., plumbing, mechanical engineering)
- At least 5 years of experience in plumbing maintenance and repairs
- Valid NC State Level I Plumbing License
- Valid NC LPP Operator's certification
