  • JOB RELATIONSHIPS
    • Reports to Pharmacy Managers
  • DEFINITION OF POSITION
    • A Pharmacist is responsible for performance or supervision of various aspects of the medication use sytem: acquisition, preparation, distribution, monitoring, administration, and billing.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
    • Professional
      • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
      • Licensed and registered as a Pharmacist by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy
      • Prefer: six months experience as a pharmacist in an acute care setting or successful completion of accredited residency in health-system pharmacy
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
      • Basic computer skills including keyboard data entry and Windows-based software navigation
      • Basic office equipment skills including use of calculator, telephone, printer, & fax machine
