- JOB RELATIONSHIPS
- Supervises RNs, UCs and other Patient Care Services Employees. Responsible to Director of Cancer Treatment Services.
- DEFINITION OF POSITION
- The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients receiving treatment/services in the Raab Clinic.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification
- Certification in Oncology or obtained within 2 years (required if caring for oncology patients and/or administering chemotherapy).
- Competency trained in Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Administration or equivalent within 6 months after hire if administering chemotherapy.
- Two years medical/surgical or critical care experience.
