Responsible to licensed Charge Respiratory Therapist and Cardiopulmonary Services Director or designee.
DEFINITION OF POSITION
A Respiratory Care Assistant (RCA) is responsible for evaluating and implementing the respiratory care of assigned patients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional
Must be an actively enrolled student in good standing of an accredited respiratory care program and maintaining a minimum grade of 2.0 in all RCP courses.
Active registration in State of NC as Respiratory Care Assistant.
