Description
Cartersville Country Club is in need of qualified candidates for serving positions in a hospitality driven environment.
Required Duties:
- Provide immediate attention to all Members and their guests.
- Learn and describe daily specials to Members and their guests.
- Learn and describe menu items to Members and their guests. Be able to answer questions about the menu(s) and offer suggestions when they are requested.
- Takes food and beverage orders from guests. Closely monitor the kitchen so food is delivered to guests quickly upon completion.
- Check on Members and guests in appropriate increments, ensuring food and beverage is as expected. Replenishes items as needed.
- Attend pre-shift meetings and taste tests, as required.
- Ensures the wait hall is organized.
- Looks for duties to complete during down time.
- Ensure accuracy for member charge, check, and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
- Learns and follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
- Learns and follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques.
- Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
- Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
- Knowledge of POS system a plus, but training will be available.
Compensation:
- Starting at $9 - $11 per hour plus tips. Pay will be determined based on experience.
