TempExperts is seeking an Associate Attorney with Civil Litigation experience for a well-established Law firm in Miami, Florida .
Summary :
The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who has at least 5-6 years of civil litigation experience, preferably (but not required) with some federal court practice.
Responsibilities :
5-6 years attorney experience, preferably in civil litigation.
Experience supervising younger associates.
Must be conscientious, detail-oriented, and have exceptional analytical and writing skills.
Must know about federal and state statutes, court rules, forms, processes, and procedures.
Provide initial analysis of cases and develop case strategy.
Take depositions of relevant parties and witnesses.
Draft legal motions and attend hearings.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
Assist and lead trial proceedings.
Other duties as assigned. Experience / Education :
5-6 years Attorney experience, Civil Litigation experience preferred.
JD and Florida Bar member in good standing.
Attention to detail.
Excellent Communication Skills.
