CHMC –Hemo-Chron-Renal Patient Care Tech in Training-Full Time Days-4a-2p (when working as a Machine Tech) and 6a-4p (when working as a PCT)-Req 7254
Pay Range:
Renal Patient Care Tech in Training: $17.02-$21.08*
Experienced Renal Patient Care Tech: $18.33-$23.47*
Provides direct/indirect patient and technical services under the supervision of a qualified registered nurse. Assists nursing staff by setting up the dialysis machine and preparing for patient treatments as well as tearing down and sanitizing machine. Knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan, together with the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the delivery of care. Must have the ability to read and understand instructions, short correspondence and memos.

Required:
High school diploma or equivalent required
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Bonent Certification required within 12 months, CPR certification
TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Health related/patient care experience
Preferred:
Previous experience in dialysis preferred, basic computer skills desirable
