What are the responsibilities and job description for the CHMC - RN-Cancer Treatment Center position at Carthage Area Hospital?
Qualifications
1. Current N.Y.S. RN license required
2. Must maintain BLS certification
3. ACLS desirable
4. ONS certification within 90 days of position start date
5. OCN certification preferred
6. Proficiency with intravenous insertion and accessing venous access devices
7. Three (3) years of Medical-Surgical, CCU, ED or other relevant nursing experience
8. Knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan with the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan and delivery of care
9. Sustained efforts to maintain current knowledge base regarding professional and practice issues
10. Oncology experience highly preferred and will be prioritized in interviewing
11. Proficient computer skills and ability to use oncology based electronic medical records
