Job Title: Director of Culinary Operations
We are a 90-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility seeking an experienced Director of Culinary Operations to lead our food service team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement meal plans that cater to the diverse needs of our residents.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of food service staff, ensuring seamless operation of kitchen services.
- Plan, assign, and inspect tasks to ensure timely completion and high standards of quality.
- Oversee the storage and care of food and supplies, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Coordinate special events and occasions, planning menus and logistics to ensure success.
- Train and orient new staff members on culinary procedures and best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for food and supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure nutritional standards are met and exceeded.
Requirements:
- CDM certification is required; ServSafe or Sodexo certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or experience in long-term care settings is preferred.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic food preparation, with ability to adapt to changing resident needs.
- Competitive salary range $60,000 - $80,000 per year (estimated).
