Commercial Lines Account Manager
Summary
The Commercial Lines Account Manager services current customers (small to mid-sized accounts) and works with a Producer to write new business. Servicing includes, but is not limited to, claims handling, remarketing of current customers, quoting new business customers, policy changes, policy reviews and verification of coverage.

Commercial Lines Account Manager
Summary
The Commercial Lines Account Manager services current customers (small to mid-sized accounts) and works with a Producer to write new business. Servicing includes, but is not limited to, claims handling, remarketing of current customers, quoting new business customers, policy changes, policy reviews and verification of coverage.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers regarding any policy changes and answer questions regarding billing, claims and coverage.
- Coordinate with companies regarding customers’ policies.
- Work with a Producer to answer customer inquiries.
- Keep Applied Epic management system updated by attaching all pertinent files and keeping policy information accurate.
- File claims and follow up on status and ensuring claims are closed in a timely manner.
- Work with a Producer to remarket current customers and/or obtain necessary underwriting information.
- Work with a Producer to market new business accounts and/or account round current customers.
- Prepare proposals for new business quotes and renewals.
- Handle all billing and work with a Producer to collect outstanding receivables.
- Active Minnesota Property & Casualty License, or the willingness to obtain the license
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial insurance experience highly desired
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products and usages
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Applied Epic; will consider other agency management systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Must be a self-starter and highly motivated
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
